This mission is lifted nearly verbatim from TIE Fighter, and teaches you how to set ships to hotkeys, as well as how to issue orders for your wingmen to attack targets. You've got to take those Y-Wings out before they destroy your base, and I very nearly neglected to do so.

In this mission, you need to keep your laser recharge rate at maintenance level when you're not dogfighting in order to keep up with your squad and to be close enough to take part in the action. On the other hand, you can also stay back purposefully and just dole out orders to destroy targets, but if you want to play a RTS, then go play a RTS. :P
