Penguin book publisher is suddenly printing more copies of George Orwell's "1984" following a surge in demand. The book was on top of the list as the number one bestselling book on Amazon both on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Many have attributed the sales to Kellyanne Conway's claim that the Trump administration operates on "alternative facts." Commentators have deemed Conway's phrase as Orwellian and compared the new administration to the novel. The novel tells a story of a society where there is extreme government surveillance and propaganda.
