Take a closer look at the Covert helmet, a new 3-in-1 lid from Scorpion: http://bit.ly/2j6cJDo

Here you see the Ratnik version of the DOT-approved Covert helmet. There’s also a solid black version available too. This helmet has some detachable pieces so it’ll work as either a full-face, three-quarter or half helmet.

The half-helmet shell configuration is made from advanced LG Polycarbonate with dual density EPS lining inside. A nice touch is the Aero-Tuned Ventilation System, not a feature you typically see on a half helmet. There’s also an EverClear, SpeedView drop-down sun visor. Dark smoke is installed when you purchase the lid, but there’s a clear version too for night riding.

Also inside is a removable and washable KwikWick antimicrobial comfort liner.

To make the Covert a three-quarter, simply attach the rear comfort sleeve. Removal is as simple as pushing the rear tab forward and lifting the sleeve up. If you want to keep it in three-quarter mode, pop in the block-off plates to keep the ports for the front mask sealed.

For the full-face effect, make sure the comfort sleeve is attached and then put the front mask into the front ports and the magnets inside will snap it into place.

And finally, a double-d ring chin strap keeps everything in place.
