A video has emerged from Hawaii, USA of singer Jack Johnson showing off his surfing skills.

In the video, which was captured on Friday, Johnson catches some great waves, including one long tube.

Although famous for his melodic soft rock and acoustic songs, Johnson was a professional surfer before his career was cut short after a bad accident.

Johnson was born in Hawaii and is the son of well-known pro surfer Jeff Johnson.
