New York City-based bicycle-sharing company, Citi Bike, is installing lasers that project the shape of a bike 20 feet ahead of riders. Laserlights, made by Blaze, are designed to alert cars, buses, and pedestrians of your presence. The lights help drivers see cyclists 30% more often according to Citi Bike studies. Laserlights will be installed on every Citi Bike in New York City by the end of 2017.
