More than 400 were stranded Friday on this remote beach in New Zealand.About 275 of the pilot whales were already dead when a magazine editor and two colleagues stumbled upon the carnage when they were out early to take photos of the sunrise. Elizabeth Keatinge (@elizkeatinge) has more.
