Woman in landmark US abortion ruling dies

The woman who symbolised abortion rights in the United States has died aged 69. Norma McCorvey was known as Jane Roe in the 1970s lawsuit Roe .v. Wade. She was unmarried and wanted to end her pregnancy in Texas, where abortions were illegal.
