In this video Dr. Jaynes shows you how to use Audacity program to add the "kick ass" Overdrive effect to you electric guitar to create the really rock'n sound you need. It is easy and inexpensive alternative to buying a guitar effects pedal, and allows you the flexibility to change the overall sound of your music even after it is recorded. The overdrive effect clips off the tops of the audio wave forms to produce the well know guitar distortion sound. Other effects such as echo, reverb and many different effects can be added to the plain sounding unaltered virgin guitar signal using the free software Audacity.
