Indian shooter Jitu Rain has won a Bronze medal in 10m air pistol event of International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup. This medal extends India’s medals tally to three. Jitu Rai finished with a final score of 216.7 in the finals of the 10m Air Pistol category at the ISSF World Cup. The Ongoing Shooting World Cup at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range witnessed the BRONZE medal performance by Jitu Rai with a final score of 216.7 and shots of 9.9 and 8.6. He couldn’t take himself into the fight for the gold medal which went to Japan and the silver medal Vietnam. India have now taken their tally to three in the tournament. Though it was an ordinary performance by Jitu Rai at the event and luck shone on him as the other competitors didnt perform well. Earlier, Heena Sidhu and Jitu Rai clinched the gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol mixed team event at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup.
