Is Emma Watson proving to be Hollywood’s most honest young star? We know she’s literally cast as a beauty in her upcoming film, Beauty and the Beast, but she definitely puts effort into it.
According to Us Weekly, the actress revealed that she’s been bleaching her upper lip since she was nine years old. Wait, what?
Yup, Emma reportedly tells Into The Gloss, “In the Instagram era it’s so easy to edit your life so that it looks perfect… But I bleach my top lip and tweeze my eyebrows and you’d never get to see that, even though it’s part of my routine.”
She didn’t stop there, either. She also admits that she uses something called Fur Oil, saying “I’ll use that anywhere from the ends of my hair to my eyebrows to my pubic hair. It’s an amazing all-purpose product.”
Emma also opens up about taking multiple baths per day if she can, her battles with skin care and other topics that many young women would probably keep to themselves.
But as Emma tells Into the Gloss, “There’s still so much shame around the things you do to get ready while you’ve got a towel wrapped around your head. It’s important to me not to edit that out.”
We guess it’s a beast to become a beauty.
