Before getting out at 64, KL Rahul took a run to reach 50 run mark on O'Keefe bowling. This was a much needed and a high-class fifty for Rahul on a difficult track, against a probing attack of Aussies. Just after hitting the bowl, Rahul crumpled clutching his left shoulder. He dislocated his shoulder and went back to the pavilion with the physio. After loosing quick wickets including the inform skipper Virat Kohli, in the first session of day 2 of the ongoing Pune Test, KL Rahul built a partnership with Ajinkya Rahane and hit a well timed half century for India. Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, skipper Virat Kohli, Rahane, Saha, Ashwin all went back cheaply.
