Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan lauded the joint efforts of the state police, ATS and central agencies in dealing with the blast in Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train. At least nine people had been injured in the explosion that took place in Shajapur area. The state Government had announced compensation of Rs. 25,000 for the injured and Rs. 50,000 to the critically-injured following the attack.
