A heartwarming video has emerged from the UK of a girl being surprised by her family with a puppy as a present for her birthday.

The video, shot on Saturday at a home in Dudley, shows Phoebe bursting into tears when she enters the living room and sees her mother holding a Bulldog puppy.

''For the last four years Phoebe has asked for a puppy, this year we setup a treasure hunt for her,'' the filmer later wrote online.

''At the end of the treasure hunt she got her dream present,'' she added.
