Lucknow bride named Manisha has delayed her marriage rituals to cast vote. She decided to leave for her husband’s home only after casting the ballot on 19 February, which will mark the third phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Manisha is getting married today and is very adamant to cast her vote tomorrow. She proposed the idea to her in laws, who readily agreed to it and now she will leave for groom’s home on February 21. She said few Election Commission officials visited their house and made them aware about the importance of voting, which led her to take such a bold move. The counting of the votes will be on March 11.
