A scary video has emerged of an elephant charging a safari Jeep before it stops seconds before hitting the vehicle.

The footage, shot by tourists near Vosburg, South Africa last week, shows the elephant threateningly approaching the vehicle before it changes its mind.

"Good thing the elephant changed his mind at the last second," the filmer wrote online.
