Footage of a man driving through New York state during today's winter blizzard, as Storm Stella hit the east coast of the US.

The video shows YouTuber VivaFrei talking viewers through his treacherous journey as he makes his way back to Montreal from New York.

"Anyone ever doubted why it's important to have winter tires, this should convince you," he wrote online.
