Airport guards shot the gunman who pointed a gun at French female soldier at Orly Airport and shouted, "I am here to die in the name of Allah...there will be deaths." None of the soldiers involved in the incident were injured, according to Paris Prosecutor Francois Molins. The assailant, identified by Molins as Ziyed Ben Belgacem, is accused of seizing a police officer's weapon and shooting the officer. The officer reportedly suffered minor wounds, officials said. The suspect was imprisoned several times due to violence, including a five-year stint in 2009.
