A Karachi-bound passenger train collided with an oil tanker at a railway crossing near Sheikhupura, northwest of Lahore, on Monday evening, March 27, killing at least one person and injuring several others.
The fire quickly spread engulfing at least three carriages near the engine, according to Pakistani reports.
The tanker had been stuck on the crossing due to a broken axle, according to officials cited in reports.
This footage, filmed by a local police man, shows the fire consuming the train.
