Shocking CCTV footage has emerged from China of a burning lorry travelling along a motorway without its driver noticing.

The video, filmed in Chongqing last Thursday, shows flames coming out of the back of the vehicle, while the driver carries on oblivious.

According to reports, the driver didn't realise the lorry was on fire, and carried on for a whole kilometre.

After ten minutes, the fire was extinguished and the traffic returned to normal.
