US Coast Guard offloaded approximately 16 tons of cocaine in Port Everglades, Florida, on Tuesday, March 28.
The cocaine, which is worth an estimated $420 million, was seized in the eastern Pacific Ocean along Central and South America in 17 raids, according to the US Coast Guard. Crews from Canadian warship HMCS Saskatoon also assisted in the operations.
More than 30 suspected drug smugglers were arrested.
