Maddie Ziegler may be no ordinary 12-year-old, having starred in Dance Moms, achieved global fame as the face of Sia’s Chandelier trilogy and amassed an Instagram following of 3.9 million. But like any other 12-year-old, she’s on the cusp of becoming a teenager and that means a whole bunch of growing pains.
In celebration of her thirteenth birthday, i-D follows Maddie as she dances her way to teenagedom, featuring narration by 90s teen icon Chloë Sevigny reading from 'Dear Diary' by Lesley Arfin, in this video directed by Bunny Kinney.
