Chatuchak is one of the world’s largest weekend markets covers area of 70 rai or roughly 27 Acres altogether divided into 27 Sections, contains more than 15,000 booths selling goods from every part of Thailand. Chatuchak Weekend Market is very popular shopping center to Thais and has become a popular place for tourists and foreigners who stay in Bangkok. With over 200,000 visitors every Saturday and Sunday, 30% of whom are foreign.
Almost everything can be found here at a bargaining local price, and most vendors actually come from local factories, like antique wood carving, clay handicrafts, local souvenirs from every parts of Thailand, Buddhist amulets, wooden furniture, hand made decorated flowers, plant, ceramic wares, doors, Thai Benjarong, Chinese wares, garden decorated plants, stones, trendy fashions, silk, hill-tribe outfits, fluffy dogs and more.

Chatuchak market is easily accessible from Novotel Bangkok Impact by shuttle, which will drop you off at Mochit BTS station, next to the market. Just ask our concierge for a shuttle pass and wait for the shuttle in front of Boots across the street. You will get there in 30 minutes (depending on traffic).
