A solar panel called the Smartflower behaves just like a sunflower. The system unfolds itself at sunrise and follows the sun throughout the day. A GPS system allows it to track the sun to always have an optimal angle. It can generate 40% more energy than traditional solar panels. It automatically folds itself up to prevent damage during bad weather. The Smartflower will begin deliveries in the U.S. this month.
