TMC leader Tapas Pal was arretsed by CBI in Kolkata in connection with a chit fund scam. Pal was questioned for hours by the CBI before his arrest. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has alleged that the centre is using the CBI to target her party men for political vendetta because of her aggressive opposition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's notes ban.
