Nightmarish surveillance footage out of Arizona shows the moment when a 4-year-old girl’s short life was nearly snuffed out when a man fired two shots into a barber shop through a glass window, both of which narrowly missed the child.
According to police, 23-year-old Michael Hart fired the shots in a fit of rage after he was asked to leave a tattoo parlor located next door. He went to his car, produced the gun from his trunk, and apparently tried to shoot the tattoo shop owner from his vehicle.
However, Hart was intoxicated at the time and wildly missed his intended target, sending two bullets whizzing within range of the little girl, who can be seen innocently playing just moments before the incident unfolded.
She was taken to the hospital for treating of injuries she sustained from the shards of glass that burst out of the window, but she is expected to quickly recover.
Hart was later tracked down at his residence and taken into police custody. He now faces a slew of charges, including one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of child endangerment.
