Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- A military parade and a public procession of Pyongyang citizens celebrating the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung took place with splendor at Kim Il Sung Square Saturday.
Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, appeared in the tribune of honor of the square.
The tribune of honor were taken by Kim Yong Nam, Hwang Pyong So, Pak Pong Ju and other senior party, state and army officials, chairmen of the provincial party committees, commanding officers of the Korean People's Army and others.
Reviewing stands of the square were occupied by delegates to the celebrations of the 105th birth anniversary of the President, officials of party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel and merited people, congratulatory groups and delegations of overseas Koreans and other overseas compatriots, the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations and their wives, members of the military attaches corps here and their wives, staff members of foreign embassies here, and foreign guests.
