AIADMK MPs today marched on Rajpath to meet PM Modi and hand over sealed petition to Modi. This was to show their outrage over cauvery water dispute. But as per the reports, PMO officials have denied permission to MPs for meeting prime minister Narendra Modi. Meanwhile, Karnataka began releasing water to parts of the Cauvery river basin, including those in Tamil Nadu.
