Two MI-17 V5 helicopters of the Indian Air Force resumed operation of controlling the raging blaze by pouring litres of water to douse the wildfire in Mount Abu, Rajasthan. There were reports of fresh fire in some areas between Mount Abu top and the Mount Abu road. The two aircraft made at least19 maneuvers delivering over 53,000 litres of water. Reportedly, fire around Arna village was said to be dangerously close to inhabited area and is being doused on priority. Close to the famous sunset point on Mount Abu it prompted the district administration to seek IAF's assistance. Watch the video of operation here.
