After a short break in Serbian anti-government protests over the Easter weekend, thousands of demonstrators returned to the streets of Belgrade on Tuesday, April 18, to rally against President-elect Aleksandar Vucic.
Crowds marched to the government buildings on Tuesday evening, the latest of two weeks of protests against Vucic’s “dictatorship”. The protest concluded with chants of “tomorrow at 6pm”, the usual refrain ending the rallies to show that protesters will continue their nightly marches. Credit: YouTube/Marion dautry via Storyful
