India lost to Germany 2-1, in a Group B match after they conceded a goal in the final three seconds of the match. At half time, the two teams were level at 1-1 with Rupinder Pal Singh scoring the equaliser for India after Nikklas Wellen had given Germany the lead in the early stages of the second quarter.
