A ginormous asteroid is going to zoom extremely close past the Earth on Wednesday. The asteroid, called the 2014 J025, will be the largest asteroid to ever come this close to the planet, flying at 1.1 million miles away. The 2014 J025 is estimated to be 600 to 1,400 meters wide, gaining the nickname 'The Rock' and 'Rock of Gibraltar' from scientists. This will be the second asteroid to fly this close to the Earth, with the asteroid Toutatis passing by just under a million miles in 2004. People will be able to view the asteroid from their home telescopes starting Wednesday night.
