The story revolves around 22 year old Suraj, his 19 yr old wife Lalitha and 42 yr old Asha Devi, Lalitha mother. Suraj and Asha Devi fell in love after Asha Devi's frequent visit to her daughter's home to help Suraj recover from a health condition.
