Expedition to the International Space Station Blasts Off From Kazakhstan

A Russian Soyuz rocket blasted off for the International Space Station on Thursday, April 20, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan.

The rocket carried NASA astronaut Jack Fischer and Russian cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin.

Their craft was set on a “fast-track six-hour course” to the International Space Station, NASA said.
