UP CM Yogi Aadityanath is diverting previous government's schemes and its names day by day. Recently Yogi decided not to carry forward Smart Phone Scheme. This scheme was introduced by Akhilesh Yadav's government just few days before completing the ruling tenure. Along with this CM also removed the word Samajwadi from all the schemes started by previous government.

उत्तर प्रदेश की सूरत बदलने को तैयार योगी सरकार पिछली सरकार को रह रहकर झटके दे रही है. कभी उनके द्वारा शुरू किए गए योजनाओं का नाम बदलकर तो कभी योजनाओं को धत्ता बताकर. इसी क्रम में सूबे के मुख्मंत्री आदित्यनाथ योगी ने अखिलेश यादव सरकार द्वारा शुरू की गयी अहम योजनाओं में से एक माने-जाने वाले स्मार्ट फ़ोन वितरण योजना को रद्द कर दिया है. रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक इस स्कीम में 1 करोड़ लोगों ने आवेदन कर रजिस्ट्रेशन करवाया था, लेकिन योगी सरकार के इस फैसले ने लोगों के अरमानों पर पानी फेर दिया है.
