Tomato prices are on the rise in the country along with potato and pulses rates also. However Agriculture Sectery has said that the rise in tomato prices is temporary and added that prices in Delhi have reduced. But the data put out by the department of consumer affairs and the National Horticulture Board shows that in most cities, prices have increased by 100-200% between April and June this year.
