India defeated Zimbabwe by 8 wickets clinching the 3 ODI series by 2-0. Earlier MS Dhoni elected to bowl first after winning the toss for the consecutive second time. Put to bat first Zimbabwe's opening batsmen were not able to score much and were sent back to the dressing room early, only Vusi Sibanda was able to spend the most time on the crease. Chasing the score of 127 runs Indian opening pair of Lokesh Rahul and Karun Nair gave India a strong start. After the dismisal of Lokesh Rahul in the 14th over, Ambati Rayudu came to the crease to join Karun Nair to push the Indian side to victory. The winning run came for the bat of Manish Panday who came to bat after Karun Nair was given LBW Sikandar Raza.
