The Supreme Court today ordered Kerala Police to set up an SIT to probe into the shocking allegations of wife-swapping lodged by the wife of a naval officer. Navy officer's estranged wife alleged that her husband and his colleagues on INS Kochi indulged in wife-swapping and tortured her because of her refusal to join them. The SIT has been asked to complete the investigation within three months. The court rejected the woman's request for a CBI probe, saying the agency must not be flooded with cases and has now ordered to set up an SIT.
