According to E Online, J-Lo ran into A-Rod at a Los Angeles restaurant, and then the two began texting each other... of course, A-Rod already had her number thanks to mutual friends.

Then, the two had their first dinner date. J-Lo tells Ellen, "I don't remember what we had for dinner, but we had a nice dinner..." but that was it... J-Lo quips, "Mama don't sleep over on the first date."

Their relationship is just a few months in the process, but clearly J-Lo is making A-Rod a happy man.
