The final hearing of the appeal filed by the Karnataka government challenging the acquittal of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has commenced before the Supreme Court. Last week Jayalalithaa had sought for the case to be adjourned by another week. The court had however asked her counsel to circulate the adjournment memo among the petitioners in the case.The matter is being heard by a Bench comprising Justices P C Ghose and Amitava Roy.
