The counting of votes for the high-stakes Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) elections is underway and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is headed towards an overwhelming majority. Staging a comeback, the Congress has pushed Delhi's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to the third spot. The AAP which is in power is heading for a humiliating loss in the crucial civic body polls as it is considered by many as a referendum on Arvind Kejriwal's two-year rule. Bharatiya Janata Party is sweeping all the three municipal corporations of Delhi. BJP is on 182, congress 41 and AAP 43.
