On the eve of Republic Day, the government has announced the list for the Padma Awards 2016. The Padma Bhushan awardees include Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, sportspersons Saina Nehwal, singer Udit Narayan,Sania Mirza.Padma Vibhushan awardees include Superstar Rajnikanth, Shri Shri Ravi Shankar. Dhirubhai Ambani will be awarded posthumously. Among the Padma Shri awardees Senior lawyer Ujjwal Nikam, actors Ajay Devgn and Priyanka Chopra .
