Check out the Official junior season mixtape from LJ Peak (Chicago Whitney Young HS)! L.J. Peak took Chicago high school basketball by storm this past season. Joining Public League powerhouse Whitney Young in September as a transfer from South Carolina. 6'5 Peak went on to score 15 points per game (2nd highest behind star junior Jahlil Okafor). A top 40 player in the Class of 2014, L.J. Peak is a high-flying small forward who is excels in transition and is and expert finisher. He's a tough defender and often covered the opponents' top players.
Playing a grueling national schedule, the Dolphins finished 27-4. They ultimately fell to eventual Illinois State champ Chicago Simeon in a sectional final game in which Peak scored 20.
Following the season, L.J. Peak returned to South Carolina to complete his high school career but let this junior season mixtape serve as a memory to what he did on the hardwood in Chicago.
After watching the highlights, it should come as little surprise L.J. Peak's college offers include Purdue, Ohio State, Memphis, Georgia Tech, Florida, UConn, Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Florida State, NC State, Georgetown, Wake Forest, Georgia, and Old Dominion.
