6'2 senior Tony Hicks was the Chicago Catholic League Player of the Year, a member of the IBCA All-State 1st Team, and Class 4a All-State 2nd Team.
With a quick first step and the ability to knock down shots from anywhere, Hicks' quiet confidence guided a young St. Rita team to a Catholic League North Championship.
Many consider Hicks a steal for Coach Jerome Allen and the Penn Quakers as he increased his scoring average from 13 points as a sophomore to 16 points as a junior to 25 points as a senior.
Thanks to Head Coach Gary DeCesare and everyone at St. Rita's High School in Chicago.
