People in opposition-held areas of eastern Damascus province protested on April 29 against ongoing fighting between rebel factions in several towns in Eastern Ghouta.
Heavy fighting erupted in recent weeks between Jaish al-Islam, the largest faction in the area, and Tahrir al-Sham and Failaq al-Rahman.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that at least 38 fighters were killed, as well as a child and an adult civilian.
Regime forces took advantage of the fighting between rebel factions to make advances in east Damascus, according to local opposition media accounts.
This video was shared by a pro-opposition media and is described as showing protests against the fighting between factions. The activist speaking in the video said that rebels fired at them during the protests.
