An Independent panel recommends Delhi MLAs salary to be increased to 50,000 from the current 12,000, and Conveyance hike from 6,000 to 30,000. The committee was appointed by the Delhi assembly speaker has suggested the increase in the salaries of the lawmakers. This change makes Delhi MLAs as the highest paid legislators in India.
