The man to lead the National Front party as French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen focuses on the election was asked to step down following Holocaust denial accusations. Jean-François Jalkh, who took over the far-right party, allegedly made questionable remarks about the Nazi gas chambers. Jalkh reportedly disputed whether Germans used Zyklon B gas to kill Jews in the concentration camps. He also allegedly promoted the work of Holocaust denier Robert Faurisson.
