The Kitty Hawk Flyer is an electric powered flying car that could be yours by the end of the year. For now it doesn’t require a pilot’s license, but it can only be flown in certain areas that are sparsely populated. The company, backed by Google cofounder Larry Page, tested its latest prototype on a lake north of San Francisco. Kitty Hawk wants to be the first to mass-produce and sell a flying car so the company is predicting the cars will go on sale by the end of this year.
