Afghan security forces were on the streets of Kabul following an explosion near the US embassy and Abdul Haq Square on Wednesday morning, May 3.
At least eight people were killed and 28 others were injured during the attack, which targeted a convoy of foreign troops, Reuters reported.
The vehicles belonged to NATO-led Resolute Support mission, which was launched in January 2015 to “provide further training, advice and assistance for the Afghan security forces and institutions.”
