Miley Cyrus is coming out of her shell regarding her relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
The singer's new song, "Malibu," is about her relationship with the actor and she tells Billboard magazine "I never would have believed you if three years ago you told me I'd be here writing this song."
Of course that's because three years ago, Liam and Miley split up and Miley publicly went in a very different direction.
She tells the magazine, "I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard... Suddenly you're like 'I don't recognize you anymore.' We had to refall for each other."
Anyone who has followed Miley throughout the years knows what she's talking about... She pivoted in a fairly wild direction while Liam has always seemed straighter laced.
Now, Miley's song "Malibu" is reportedly a sentimental love song, and not, well... about dead pets.
According to Us Magazine, Miley tells Billboard she's not smoking weed or drinking anymore, which is just a personal change she wanted to make.
Her life in Malibu with Liam seems a lot more tranquil than her recent past.
