A young girl was airlifted to Birmingham Children's Hospital on 9 May after falling from the Splash Canyon ride at Drayton Manor theme park. Police said the girl was believed to be 11 years old, from the Leicester area, and that both her parents and the Health and Safety Executive had been informed.
